Put off labour by midwife

So I've been having irregular contractions since 8pm Saturday evening. I've been unable to sleep or eat properly and my body is in agony. Then 5pm Monday evening I was bleeding so iphoned labour ward as a I got concerned about the wellbeing of my baby and was asked to go in an be monitored. So I did. The midwife agreed my contractions were all over the place but was normal because he's back to back and the blood was nothing to worry about and then offered a ln examination because I'm 41 weeks so I agreed an all of a sudden she snapped at me saying my cervix is completely posterior calling me rediculous an saying I need to get a grip an stop phoning labour ward and maternity... I was absolutely devastated the way she spoke to me an my partner really wasn't happy either. She made me feel so small and like a complete idiot. I'm a first time mum and have no idea what's going on with my body or what to expect... I phoned them because I was bleeding an I was worried about the safety of my child but after this experience she has made me feel so low an I just don't want to go into labour at all I don't even want to go back to the hospital again.
