36w1d & Getting induced at 39w.

I'm half a centimeter dilated today and the doctor felt my sons head while checking my cervix👶.. I also lost my mucus plug today.. I don't know the exact reason why but he brought up the whole subject to induce me before he checked my cervix.. I'm due on July 25th and will be induced on July 18th at 39 weeks..

For those who have been induced.. How did it go for y'all? What exactly happened the whole time? Pretty nervous but happy to know I'll be meeting my son in a couple of weeks.. No negative/rude comments!!
