Belly drop?

I'll be 37 weeks pregnant on Saturday. Just wondering has anyone's belly dropped yet? I don't think mine has just yet. Once it's dropped is that a sign baby can come at anytime from then or can baby come anytime even without belly dropping? Lol First time mum here😊

At my dr appointment last Friday I was told the baby had dropped by the nurse. She just said it all nonchalantly as she was putting the NST band across the top of my uterus. I'm being induced in exactly 3 weeks, but I'll gladly give birth to him early :)

Mine dropped around 35 weeks. For ftm's, it usually drops a few weeks before labour starts, but can start as late as when you're in labour, so it doesn't need to, necessarily, but it's a better sign if it does. Having the head right on the cervix will help you dialate. :)

I'll be 36 weeks on Saturday and I'm pretty sure she has dropped more since last appointment. This is my third baby. With my first baby the doctor checked me at 36 weeks and was touching his head with his fingers.....and he only came one day early... So he was super low for at least 4 weeks before he came.
