Anybody got pregnant within the 6 weeks after birth? If so, what were your symptoms & were you still having the pp bleeding?

You are most fertile witin the year of giving birth miscarriage and abortion as your hormones and body are readjusting back to normal and thats also one reason they have the 6 week check up as a long time ago women were getting pregnant around that time since they werent waiting

When my daughter was born we started trying 12 days after she was born to get pregnant again. We want our kids really close together. Well...I breastfed and clearly it worked as birth control because she decided to stop nursing at 1 year and 1 day and we got pregnant that same month. When this one is born in 6 weeks or so we will start trying right away again and see what happens. We want the rest as close together as possible but it's in God's hands when it happens I guess but I would love Irish twins :)
