Is sex ok?

Ok this is my first pregnancy and I'm really nervous as I'm sure most are. My husband and I had sex on Thursday. Friday morning there was a couple red spots when I wiped. Then nothing the rest of the day. That night brown discharge started when I wiped. I have had that now for 5 days. No cramps just brown stuff.  Anyway my question is is sex ok? I've been putting my husband off and feel kinda bad.

Sex is fine. I was super nervous at first too with my first pregnancy. I didn't have sporting with my first but I did several times with my second. It's also normal to spot a little after sex. And you might even feel a little tightness or cramping after an orgasm.

I think it's fine. I would ask your dr about the spotting. I would not wait to see if it worsens, ask asap to put your mind at ease and make sure you're being proactive.

If you're high risk your dr my recommend that you abstain from sex. Otherwise it's perfectly healthy

Sex is completely fine, just be sure you're listening to your body though. If you start cramping or feel uncomfortable take a break or switch positions.
