2 positives then a negative?

I took two first response tests and they came back with faint positives. Then today I took a ept and it had a BFN...I'm so confused. My period isn't due till the 8th. What could be going on??

If you didn't do it with your first pee of the day, that could be why. The hormone won't be as detectable in your urine if you test later in the day after you've already went pee a few times.

You're pregnant. It's early, so your hcg may not be high enough to register on all tests. And your pee may have been diluted which could have contributed to the negative.

You're pregnant. FR tests detect lower levels of hcg. You have to stick with one brand. If you take different brands, you are likely going to get different results. I know many women who have gotten strong positives with FRER and a few days later, gotten faint lines on another brand. They would convince themselves they were having a chemical pregnancy because the line wasn't getting darker. In reality, it was just because the different brand wouldn't pick up as well. Clear blue is really accurate...  I know the last woman said not jump brands but i got 3 positives from 3 different brands. Ebt, some generic brand.. And then clear blue. It even gave me an estimate of how far i was

Wait until your period is due or go and get a Dollar Tree test. I took 3 EPT test all said negative. I know my body and so I knew for sure I was. Waited until after my period was due a week to be exact after. Got a Dollar tree test it was postive before i could pee on it good. Lol
