Gender appointment & water?!

I Have my appointment this morning and I'm trying to drink all the water necessary but I have such trouble drinking it in the morning! So much so that I actually threw up half the water this morning. Any advice??

My ultrasound tech said it only takes 20 mins to fill your bladder.

I drank so much water before my scan, my little princess wouldn't cooperate and open her legs for us to confirm the sex. The sonographer sent me back outside to go for a walk and drink a sugary drink! It worked! So definatley drink some sugary drinks before your scan X Good Luck X

Water has made me sick though my entire pregnancy so far. I started drinking Gatorade to help me stay hydrated

No one told me I had to drink any amount of water before my ultrasound, so I just drank a normal amount for me. It wasn't much I don't think, and I didn't hold it or anything. I didn't have to pee during the ultrasound. Anyway, it was perfectly fine. I got great pictures, and the babe cooperated just fine.

I wouldn't worry too much about making yourself sick. I will say that I was told to eat candy to get him moving, so I ate a handful of gummi bears before and he was having a dance party in there! So maybe try that?

Drink it with a lot of ice. My doctor told me that I need to drink 40 oz and hold it for an hour. I can't drink anything without throwing up if it's not cold
