When did your baby start sleeping through the night?!

My LO is 2 months old, and the whole time he's been home he slept pretty good at night. A total of 8 hrs at night and he would wake up once but now for some reason he's been having trouble sleeping at night at all waking up every 2 hrs. Has anyone gone through this?

I had my daughter sleeping through the night at 3 months. She was over 15 pounds by then so the pediatrician informed me that there is no nutritional need for them to wake up to eat at night once they weigh 15lbs. I did sleep training, it took me 3 days to get her into a good routine. No rocking or anything I could just lay her down and she knew it was bed time.

She started sleeping through the the night at about 3 weeks old. But sounds like your baby is going through a growth spurt.

Could be a growth spurt. My little one just went through one and did the same thing.

My baby girl started "sleeping through the night" (5-6 hour stretches) at 6 weeks, but started actually sleeping through the night (12 hrs with one small feeding) at 2.5 months.

My baby is 11 months old and very rarely sleeps through the night. At one stage he woke up every hour. A lot of factors play a role... winds, reflux, teething, separation anxiety, growth spurts, personality, etc. It's hard but don't worry about it. As long as your baby is happy and healthy that's all that matters. Don't compare your baby to others.
