Is my boyfriend a douche or just being a boy?

Last week my bf pissed me off because he was 4 hours late to pick me up to go swimming and called me hours later laughing saying sorry he was late but he'd be right over. So after swimming I was still mad and he said he would take me out to eat Friday (tomorrow now) to make it up to me. Then last night my dad was in the hospital (fine now) and I called him crying asking for him to come over and he did and spent the night with me, and even got up early and left because I had work early. Now he's saying he has to cut the grass tomorrow and we can't go to lunch. (He works in the afternoon and night). He just fucking pisses me off so god damn much. But sometimes he comes right when I need him. Idk I just feel like there's someone else out there that will make me a priority. I'm just so sick of him blowing me off. We've been dating for over 5 months now but idk. Someone just give me advice or something?
