When to take pregnancy test????

I had sex friday - sunday when I was at peak of ovulation, I've read first response can detect as soon as 6 days, but that it takes 6 days after sex for you to be "pregnant". Should I take one here in the next few days or in 6 more days????

12-19 days after ovulation is when hcg will be present in your urine. Blood is about 2-3 days earlier than urine. Some women test positive about 10 days after ovulation but its best to wait until 11 days after ovulation to test for an accurate result. Use first morning urine and DO NOT READ AFTER 10 MIN I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. whatever the instructions say. FOLLOW THEM EXACTLT AS THEY SAY AND DONT READ AFTER THE TIMEFRAME. anything that shows AFTER 10 min IS NOT A POSITIVE. its an evaporation line.

thats 6 days before period which usually means 8 dpo. but very few people can get a positive that early so i would suggest waiting till atleast 10 dpo
