Infection or friction burn?

I need to know if i have to go to the doctor

I have some itchiness on my out labia and i havenonly had sex with my long term partner who was tested just before we got together and he was clean. I was a virgin too.

I wanted to know is it possible for healing friction burn to itch or could i have some kind of infection or uti? I also just finished my period. Could that have anything to do with it?
