My 6 month old had fever for 3 nights and was super grouchy and in pain. I took him to the Dr. and they said double ear infection and prescribed antibiotics. Im usually as natural as possible with him avoid unnecessary medicine use feed him organic but he was suffering so I honestly didn't hesitate to pick up the amoxicillin the Dr. prescribed. She mentioned that some people wait it out but given the circumstances she doesn't reccomend that. Anyways someone told me basically that I should have skipped the antibiotic because their are natural ways to treat ear infections. I researched and found antibiotic resistance info now im just worried but this seems dumb should I have skipped the antibiotic? 😔

side note: He already started his antibiotic last night so im continuing for the 10 days this is more for future reference. Tia.
