Used to sing to us kids the song 'you don't always get what you want you don't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need' when we didn't get our way. It drove us nuts!! But now with 2 teenage stepsons and an 8 year old and another one coming I sing it to them. It's great. What things did you parents say to you that you now say to yours?
