Just need to rant!

I don't need a reply, but I do need to rant. Today is my anniversary and my husband has used this stupid line 3 times this year already... "I was going to stop on my way home to get you a card and flowers and whatever, but I just wanted to come home." First it was Valentine's Day (I passed it off as ok) then Mother's Day (again, passed it off because he isn't my child so okay, whatever) and now our anniversary. I'm so tired of getting things for him and making things special just to be slapped in the face with the feeling like he just doesn't care. Glad that I mean so much that he can't even stop for a maximum of 5 minutes just to get a stupid card to show that he cares! Not to mention I'm on my period so my emotions are on over drive right now and I sound like a whiny psycho! 😭 stupid period!!!
