Boyfriend talks about sex life

My boyfriend & I have been together 8 months and causally mentioned tonight that he told his friends I was a "freak" in bed (sarcastically). But I can't help to think he actually meant it. I believe sex is just between you and that person. Should I be offended he said that to his friends? He is a grown adult but I don't want to over react to little things.
