The power of the Glow community

The news of the past 24 hours has clearly and understandably upset many of us.

Whatever your race, whatever your convictions, please know that, even in CC, this is not a time to criticize and undermine the voices of others.

Our community is by and large made up of women and of mothers. And those mothers are hurting. They are hurting for fear of their husbands, their brothers and most importantly, their now-and-future sons. 

This is a time to listen, to try and understand, to empathize, and to provide your voices in compassion.

If all you want to do is diminish and dismiss the pain of our community members, then please know, this is not the right community for you. And it never will be.

In light of the terrible shootings of Dallas police officers, we can only reiterate our message: Hatred is never the answer. Violence is not the solution. Our hearts are heavy with the sorrow felt by our entire nation.
