Never wanting kids?

Question

Does anyone else genuinely dislike and never want kids? I've known I didn't want kids my whole life but I always feel like I'm going to change my mind, and maybe I still will, but I just don't like kids and I struggle to find people like me. If it matters, I'm 22 and in a stable common-law relationship. Just can't stand kids. Am I the only one? 😕

I love babies but kids drive me INSANE. Any time a child talks to me or I just hear them in general in my head I'm like "omg stfu I hate you please go away" 😂 that's so mean but I just find their existence unbearably annoying. I think it'll be much different when I have my own kids though :) I can raise them to not be little assholes like most kids these days and I bet I'll love my own but hate others haha!

I can't stand annoying loud kids with no manners which is pretty much all kids. We just moved but I lived under 6 kids for 3 years it was hell!!! I sadly wished her kids would just fall through the floor while jumping on my head one day and die lol. I have a 6 month old and he's my everything. He is super annoying at times but he's mine so I just hug and kiss him when he has his baby tantrums and try to be as loving as possible I also take plenty of bathroom breaks when hubby's home 😉😂
I understand if you never want kids its pretty understandable! do what works for you.

I have always liked kids but never wanted them until it looked like I couldn't have them. Having that ability taken off the table changed things for me. Like... I always thought the door would be open even if I didn't want to use it!

Now I am working hard to have a kid which includes fertility doctors. I am, however, terrified that I won't do well while they are babies. I don't have a lot of experience with babies and I don't think I'm good with them.

Same here!! I do not have the patience for Children plus I have a major phobia of vomiting which cause me to have a panic attack and Suicidal thoughts if I hear or see it.  Kids aren't for me 😅

I never wanted kids until I met my husband, he's always wanted them. We've been trying for a while now and I must admit with every passing negative test I feel myself wanting kids less and less...that makes me sound horrible but it's true. People keep saying I'm just building a wall to defend myself from being let down and I have no idea if that's true or not. It's a social pressure that assumes all women want children but the population is too big as it is so I think if you don't want kids good on you more sleep for you XD

I’m 30, but when I was younger I’ve always imagined me having 2 or 3 kids.. as I grew older the number of kids I want to have gotten less and less went from 3 to 1 and 2 years ago I decided that I don’t want any kids.. It requires dedication, energy, money, adjustments and so on.. to me this is not something I’m welling to do so, I’m from a culture where every women must have kids and whoever decides not to isn’t a good one, but who defines the rules? Not wanting kids is just as normal as wanting to have them, so don’t worry you’re not the only one with these thoughts ♥️
