Pack n play or crib?

Question

Ive seen other moms use a pack n play instead of buying a expensive crib and i read online lots of moms saying they got the pack n play instead of wasting money on a crib since he will grow out of it and get into a toddler bed soon and the pack n play you can take anywhere. I already told my grandma to get me this nice pack n play since she offered, i was just wondering :) ftm! Thankyou in advance

I already have a toddler bed and got rid of all my baby stuff 5 years ago because I swore I wasn't ever going to have another baby. So I just bought this pack-n-play and got an upgraded mattress for it.

I always did pack n play but this time around I'm going with a crib... There are convertible cribs now that can turn into a toddler bed.

We had a pack n play for our twins 12 years ago. It worked great. For this baby we got another one with a fancy newborn napper and music box off Craigslist. Great find, and we are so glad we skipped the crib. When baby is old enough we will put a mattress on the floor Montessori style skipping the toddler bed too.

I think a baby needs a good mattress to be sleeping on every night so I will say crib. I don't think pack and plays are very comfortable as an every night bed.

I'm doing a convertible crib they grow throughout the childs life to a full size bed and also a Pac n play

I have a pack n play and a crib. My pack n play has never come out of the box lol. Crib for the win!

I highly recommend a crib. Pack n plays aren't very comfortable once they grow out of the infant part.

I've got both.  My baby will start in the crib and stay in the crib until it's big enough for the toddler bed.  My crib converts from a crib,  toddler bed,  full size bed.  So I will have it until my child is out of the house. The pack and play well be used at others houses when we go visit or at our camp

I have a grow with Me crib,  paid 159 off walmart.com it goes from crib to toddler bed with gate to day bed, to queen size bed
