I'm a pretty big believer in being friends with your SO, so I'd wait one or two months, but in saying that I've only had sex with one person, and it took us 11 months of dating until we were ready. In a future relationship, I may only wait a couple of weeks. 
It's totally up to what you and your partner decide is right, but I do believe that having a strong friendship as a foundation to the relationship will only help it to thrive.

Honestly there is no universal time frame. In HS I dated a guy for 6 months before we had sex, we talked a lot about it and we planned it all out and everything haha. When we broke up a few years later, I had sex with my current boyfriend the first time we hung out. It was so spontaneous and in the moment. Never thought I would ever do that but just goes to show that it really is up to what the two of you are comfortable with and what feels right and when it feels right.
