Hmm due date changed how is that being so far along already??

Went to my Dr today per my last spot and my ultrasound I was due Oct 9 making me today 26+5 weeks. Went to my Dr today and he is now stating that I am only 25 weeks how is that?

Your baby may catch back up my baby measured small also but only 3 days off so they didn't change my date... that is an awful big difference but maybe baby will go through spurt and catch back up

I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks and it was exactly to the day of my last cycle and the day I was sure I ovulated so then obviously due date based on that. I'm now 24 weeks and my scan this week and assessment at the doctor put me measuring at 26 weeks but my doc isn't changing my due date. She said if you have a scan in the first trimester it's almost always accurate and then after 12 weeks all babies grow at different rates so therefore go by the first. You got pregnant on a particular day you can't just be more or less pregnant. I would definitely still keep your original due date in mind cause at a later time baby could hit a growth spurt and measure ahead then you're all screwed up again lol.

Yeah I read on this app or somewhere that attempts to change the due date later in pregnancy are often inaccurate. Babies grow at different rates and can catch up or slow down in percentile. I'd keep the original due date in mind but note the new one too I guess. 🤔
