Should i be upset???

I'm planning on participating in an evening childbirth class coming up considering that I will be a first time mom and would like to learn the basics of what to expect and so on....I really would like my fiance to come with me since its recommended that your support person attend. He is the least bit interested and gets aggravated when I bring it up. He has no desire to come along at all, and thinks its pretty much just stupid. This really upsets me and hurts my feelings because I feel like he should be more interested in my pregnancy. He really doesn't act like he's too concerned with my pregnancy to begin with.... I just want him to be more involved. He doesn't really care too much about going to my appointments either. I mean he's went to a few but he just doesn't seem as excited as I do. Should I be upset?? Is it normal for men to act like this???
