Is it normal spotting?
I always swore I'd never post about this type of thing but when I called the nurse line she wasn't very helpful.
I had my 39 week exam on Thursday and they checked my cervix again. A few hours later I noticed that when I wipe in the restroom it was very brown. Not pink or red, brown. Yesterday it was completely gone but today it started again, the same brown color. The doctor told me at my first cervical exam at 35 weeks that spotting was normal, but I never got any at 35, 36, 37, or 38 weeks.
It is normal for spotting to be brown and 2 days after my exam? It's very light, not heavy. Has anyone experienced this?
Sorry for the grossness :( the nurse said on Thursday just to keep an eye on it.
