Pent up Gas

My 6week old gets such gas, he screams himself awake day and night. We've tried the mylicon drops, knees to chest, abd and back massages...what else can we do? I'm exclusively BF and have watched the timing of what I eat and when I pump but he still gets these horrible episodes on various days that my heart breaks for him! What am I missing? What else can I try? Please save me and my LO!
