Impatient with my doctor

Please tell me how you other pregnant women keep your sanity?! Last Saturday I was told I was dilated 1cm which could happen for weeks ,but my blood pressure was crazy high! So the doctor told me that my little girl would come early look to have her at at 37 weeks. Well I went to my regular Obgyn thank God no preeclampsia , but my Obgyn says looks like her due date or any day. What's that mean?? I'm so tired of not seeing my sweet baby girl!!! She's in a uncomfortable place in my stomach. They haven't done an ultra sound since 30 weeks! I'm literally getting impatient & I am still working 12hr shifts as nurse! I barely make it through the day with my swollen feet & tummy discomfort! Why was I told she would be here early ?? I'm 38 weeks pregnant & aggravated my sweet girl isn't in my arms than tummy ?? Any other moms dealing with doctors not knowing for sure early or not ?
