Castor oil (no judgement)

I went to my doctor appointment this morning after being up all night with irregular contractions and low back pain all night. I found how my cervix hasn't progressed at all.  I'm still a 1-2 cm and 70% thinned. I asked my doctor ways to maybe kickstart labor. She said it seems like my body is getting started with all the pre-labor symptoms. She said the usually...walking, bouncing on a ball, sex (which will hurt because baby girl is so low). I asked her about evening prime rose and Castro oil. She said she's seen Castro oil work 90% of the time this late in pregnancy. I'm 39+4 days. I'm so uncomfortable and willing to try anything. I can't imagine going another 9 days (I'll be induced at 41 weeks on July 21st if she doesn't come on her own). I'm just wondering if Castro oil has worked for anyone? Please no judgements
