Is it okay to ask...

So my 39 week appointment is on Wednesday and I was wondering if it's okay to ask my doctor to go ahead and schedule an induction for my 41st week. The reason I want to go ahead and ask at my appointment this week is bc my doctor is out of town all next week so I won't get a chance to see her. If I go on my own before I get to 41 weeks then awesome but if not I'd rather have it scheduled already. Thoughts?
