Age of consent

Do you feel like the age of consent is where it should be? I ask this because I was scrolling through Facebook and I see an article about a teen boy (16) "forced" to have a threesome with 2 of his teachers. Then, everyone proceeded to call it rape in the comments and basically claimed they raped a poor child. This also made me think of an episode of Dr.Phil where a teacher slept with a 16 year old student. The whole time, he is basically smirking and patting himself on the back for getting it in with a teacher. He has his friend drop him off while he slept with her (planned from the beggining) then he left and told all of his friends. She was then charged with rape and lost her license.

With these examples being said, do you think that at 15-16 a teen really can't consent? Meaning if they willingly sleep with or seek out a sexual relationship with an adult, it is rape and not partially their fault as well? Or do you think a teen of that age fully knows what they are doing? What should the age of consent be in your opinion?
