Poisoned my unborn baby

I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant and have severe asthma. Recently I was diagnosed with bacterial bronchitis and pneumonia for which I have been given antibiotics ( amoxicillin), cortico-steroids ( prednisone and methy-prednisone), albuterol and  magnesium sulfate for 4 days. I recently was told by a friend that these steroids are a risk category D in the first trimester. I researched it and they can cause everything from a cleft palate to heart defects to still birth!
