Gene mutation?
I just found out that I have something called Factor V Lieden Mutation. They called me to tell me at 20 weeks pregnant and I'm freaking out. They told me this is a clotting disorder and basically means I'm at risk for clots or stroke during labor, or miscarrying during 3rd trimester. I was wondering if any other mommy a have this? I doubt it because I was told only 2% of the population have it. But praying someone on here can possibly relate or spread some good news from a previous experience. I'm only 26 years old so this is pretty frightening even hearing the word stoke at my age.
