Ugly vagina???

So I have been shaving my vagina ever since I was around 16, and I'm 19 now. I have never had a boyfriend and I'm still a virgin, I started dating someone about a month ago and when we have sex for the first time I want to be as less insecure as I can be, now I have seen porn and watched it all and it makes me so envious that they have perfect vaginas. Is it normal for a vagina to have a bunch of dots all over it and scars. I'm just so insecure I don't even want to have sex because I feel like the girls in porn make it hard to not be insecure! So I wanted to ask, what are all of your shaving routines? What do you use to make it less bumpy and more pretty? I've bought shaving stuff that is for sensitive areas and reduced itch and bumps but it doesn't work, I also use after shave gel, still no luck. I'm about to the point where I want to try waxing. Can you guys help???
