Is adoption okay even when you're married?

Is it looked down upon to give a baby up for adoption when you're married? My husband and I don't have any kids yet and we're not sure if we ever want kids, but we KNOW we're not ready yet. Is this okay? Or is it just expected that once you're married and you get pregnant, you keep it?

Honestly that's one of the most selfless things you can do! Plus you're giving another couple a chance to have a baby if they're unable to conceive on their own😊

You have to do what you think is best for the baby. If you know yall can't provide it all the love and nurturing it deserves and that adoption is the best option. Then by all means do what's best for your child. I would advise at least doing a private adoption that way you know your baby is going to a loving couple versus some fostercare.

In my opinion if you aren't ready for a baby or don't know if you want kids, then you should put them up for adoption. My sister-in-law never wanted her daughter but kept her to save face and it's very obvious. Not saying you would be that way, but why not let a family that really wants a child but can't have one take the baby?

Adoption is a beautiful gift to give a couple. Regardless of your situation, do what is best for yourselves and the baby. There are so many loving couples who desperately want a child, I know of two such couples myself, so if this is your situation please make the right choice, find a loving couple, do your research, and do the right thing for the baby!

If you don't want a child, then you shouldn't be forced to keep it. It's better than getting an abortion. You're giving someone else a chance to have a child who may not be able to have one otherwise. I think it's perfectly fine.
