Am I being pushy??

I found an engagement ring in the top draw of my boyfriends nightstand. We have spoken about getting married and I have told him I want to be married ASAP. He knows I will say yes. He said he wants to wait for the perfect moment which I understand but today he had the perfect moment and didn't do it. I don't know if he has changed his mind or if I am just pushing him too hard. I also really want him to propose next weekend on our one year but losing hope that he will do it anytime at all.
