Getting pregnant?!

I've been having sex with the same person for a year without using protection. And every month my period comes on time, lol. He has a child and so do I from previous relationships, but I'm not sure why I haven't gotten pregnant yet. We have sex numerous times, even in the same day! But I'm not sure what to do or why 😩😩 please offer some advice.
