When should I test?

I had unprotected sex 3 days ago, I am quite concerned even if I'm on the pill. My period should come in 13 days, so that would be 16 days after sex in total. Do you think a test would be accurate if I take it 14 days after sex, meaning 2 days before my period? I will be going on holiday when my period is due and will be stuck in a car all day long so I was just wondering if the test would be accurate 2 days before my period.

Wait to see if you miss you period. Give it a couple days for the stress of this whole situation and take it when you're 3-4 days late and then again a week later. Best of luck either way!

I took a test two days before my period was due and it was negative. 4 days later, I took another and it was positive. So I would suggest waiting until your period is due. It will either come and you'll know then, or it will be late and you can test.

If you get the FRER 6 days sooner, 2 days before should be accurate. If AF doesn't show, test again just in case.
