Bathroom time for sahm

At what age should you expect privacy in the bathroom from your children and implement it. My husband got off work early tonight and walked by the restroom and saw me pissing on the pot while my 5 yr old was brushing his teeth, it's a 1 br house. Maybe me leaving the door open is a problem too... Anyways He freaked out, Called me a weirdo, apologized to my son, shut me in a room and told me I couldn't watch Netflix with him but my son could. I don't appreciate that the only time he spends bonding with him is when he's excluding me. I don't think that sends the right message. Especially when my kid thinks it's fun to be disrespectful to mom in public. It didn't occur to me that I was doing anything wrong at the time. My husband is still ignoring me. Viewpoints? I gse I'll tell my kid to stop brushing his teeth and get out, the next time I have to pee.
