Boyfriend has started taking steroids to help his ongoing leg problem, asked doctor he said yes but not to much and you can see how it's helped his leg but now he's becoming so angry, aggressive. Help!!

Anabolic steroids, yes. It's called roidrage. It aaallll depends on the steroid. If my SO takes one that makes him rude, I make him stop and ask him to never take it again. He always respects what I ask, and finds a different one.

Yes. 2 years ago my now fiance actually broke up with me because he got so cocky about the way his body was changing and it shot his self esteem through the roof so he left. He was so self centered and it killed me so I was never happy which is one of the reasons he left. But that only lasted a month before we got back together and he quit using. I haven't experienced this, but my cousin's husband was a very loving husband until he got on steroids. They're now separated because when he got on them, he got major roid rage and started abusing her to the point of holding her against a wall with his hand around her throat. I advise you to be very careful

I had an ex who took steroids. He would bounce between being super emotional and extremely irritable. Never laid his hands on me, but would often throw things and have temper tantrums. The biggest issue was his sex drive. It wasn't necessarily too much, but he felt he needed to have sex with anyone who looked at him. So he did. He wasn't a cheater before he started them.
