I'm so confused...Help!
I'm always confused on how to answer questions or how I should say things. These two questions always go unanswered:
Am I a POC?
Can I experience racism?
So I'm mixed. I'm both white and Hispanic. People are taken back when they see me and know my last name. I have pale skin (but I tan really really well) light green (I have central hetrochromia) eyes, and long wavy blonde hair...my last name is Rodriguez. My appearance leans more to my Mama's side rather than my Dad's which I long for. So does this mean I'm white passing and/or a POC?
I always see and hear about reverse racism being or not being real. I never really know where to stand because I look white but I'm mixed. Plus I'm not sure if I can experience racism.
Not trying to sound stupid. I'm just trying to understand more.
