High blood pressure? 😣

Two days ago, my blood pressure was 140/89 so the midwives sent me to the hospital for a non stress test and monitoring. All my labs came back normal and they kept saying the baby still seemed really happy. I was there for maybe an hour then got to go home but have to go back tmrw to check again. No other signs of preeclampsia or anything like that.. planning for a homebirth but I'm worried that isn't going to happen if my blood pressure doesn't go down. Is it normal for my blood pressure to be a bit high near the end? Will it effect my labor at all? The midwives and nurses don't seem worried at all but I'm scared that I'll get really bad news tmrw so I'm making my husband come with me to the hospital again.. should I be worried?
