Husband pissed me off
I'm almost 30 weeks preggo. First time mom. Last night, my husband quotes some standup comedian, Bill buhr, about how a "stay at home mom" wasn't a real job. He made a comment about how it must be really hard changing Disney DVDs out of the DVD player all day.
This really struck a nerve with me. I have no intention on being a stay at home mom, but at the same time I can't even imagine the amount of work that goes into being a full time mom. He seems to take me for granted as it is because he hardly does any housework, and the housework I do goes unacknowleged and unappreciated. I imagine this would be the same situation if I were a stay at home mom.
He just seems so ignorant and kind of sexist. It really pissed me off.
