More blood than usual. 😬🌆

I've been having to change my pad every hour or two because there is just a ridiculous amount of blood than usual. When I pull my shorts down the blood gets all over my legs and it's just a crime scene. I wore a pad over night and it was absolutely horrible down there. I'm usually a light flow. Has this happened to anyone else???
