Who has tried eating pineapple to induce labor? Did it work?

If it didn't, did you try anything else that did work? Or is it all myths and nothing helps?

The only thing that helped me was sex. He had to finish inside but it got me started dilating. Had my son a week later. (hubby has to leave the night after we tried sex for military duties)

You have to eat like 7 pineapples in one sitting for it to be enough to induce you, and at that point, it could be toxic to you. That's why your tongue tingles when you eat it, because the acids in the pineapple are literally trying to fight back.

I ate an entire freaking pineapple and nothing! I have friends who swear by it though, so I don't know. All I know it didn't do a damn thing for me.

I tried everything I could possibly think of to induce labour with my first and he still only came at 42 weeks. And I was having sex twice a day, eating pineapples, running stairs, cleaning, ...babies come when they are fully baked and not before :D
