When is okay?

Ok doing have been told my entire life never have sex, never give that to someone. However I don't believe I want to do that. I know I am young but I'm clueless in what time it is ok to give someone I care about my virginity. I'm afraid of being judged and used. What do I do I'm so confused. Send tips.
