What should I do?

Okay so ladies I scheduled my prenatal appt for my 1st visit and they scheduled me to September 1st. That is 5weeks from now! I think that is way to long to wait. I will be 10weeks. should I go to another hospital to do my prenatal? I don't understand why I have to wait that long!

When I was pregnant with my son, my OB did not see anyone until at least 8 weeks. When I saw the dr the fist time I was 10 weeks. It's hard to wait but if u are not having any complications then it's totally normal. However I felt the same way that you are and I was a wreck until I saw the he dr. Hang in there! ❤️

With my first pregnancy, I didn't c the ob until week 7, but I was only measuring 5. The baby had a heartbeat, but they noticed some bleeding on the vaginal ultrasound probe. I ended up having a mc the very next day. I found the place very cold and I was seen by 2 different dr one of which didn't seem to care.

With this pregnancy, I found a practice where there is just one dr. It's super small and more down to earth. I tried to schedule and US but they asked me to come in for a consult right away to confirm hcg levels and meet the dr.

I had spotting today and I was able to have the dr paged and responded in less than 1 minute. The receptionist was able to move me to an early US appt and she wrote me a progesterone prescription same day. I am soooo glad I switched practice. It makes the world of difference.

My O.B doesn't set the first appointment until 12 weeks. So my first is August 31st. I'm 6 weeks now... it's going to be a long month!

Because by 10 weeks the baby will be visual in an ultrasound other than by vaginal. I have to wait until August 19th, so I understand!

They should see you at 8w. That's a standard 1st appt. Did they not have anything sooner, is that why it is so far away?
