Midwife and Doula?

What are your thoughts in having a midwife and doula? I'm planning on having a natural pregnancy so I'm assuming this would be something I should look into. Thanks!

I'm dead set on having a unmedicated birth! I'm also concerned about insurance not covering a midwife, so I'm just going to find a OBGYN that is truly supportive of my choice... but still be in the comfort of a hospital.

I thought about it but most insurance in CA won't cover it so I would have to pay out of pocket.. And I'm a pediatric nurse and fear the worst so wouldn't mind having a natural delivery in a hospital
