Clomid question help help help

I'm so confused and nervous. This is my first month of clomid, and i dont think the nurse gave me the right directions. She said that the day I start taking provera is cycle day 1 and take clomid on cd 5 6 7 8 9...I thought your cycle day 1 started the day you start your period, not the day you start taking provera....I'm so scared this is gonna mess something up. I made sure I asked her several times to explain again and again. I tried to look online and couldn't get a good answer...it's too late now tho I'm almost done taking it.

AGAIN, I HAVE NOT STARTED MY PERIOD YET. I am taking provera and clomid together!!!!
