I got my son circumcised and when they brought him back to me he was perfectly fine like nothing happened to him they told us how to care for it til he healed which we filled and now he's all healed up I don't regret doing it

Me and my hubby had both agreed to get him snipped.  It is so much cleaner and less of a hassle.   That week of putting gauze and Vaseline on it was worth it instead of getting infections all the time.

I hate it when people say "it's a choice they will never get to choose." and "you're taking away something of theirs." I know plenty of men that are circumcised and that don't complain, in fact, they are happy that their parents decided to. At the end of the day if you want to get it done for your son then do it, and if you don't, then don't. Simple.

I had my little boy circumcised and if I have another, I will too. I am
a peds nurse and see lots of little boys with urinary tract infections and infections under the foreskin of uncircumcised penises. Having it done as a newborn, the baby doesn't remember and if you decide later, or even worse as an adult, it is quite painful and complication risk is higher. If you know it won't be an issue cosmetically and are prepared to meticulously clean under the foreskin and teach your little boy how, you'll be fine. It certainly isn't necessary and many boys do just fine without it but for my kids, I feel like it's just easier and more cosmetic to have it done.
