How do you know you've ovulated

Hey ladies. I think I may have ovulated 2 days ago (thankfully we had sex the day before that and the day of). But I didn't have any ovulation tests so I can't be sure. I just noticed some cramping on my right side for a couple of hours that day. Do you guys have any psychical symptoms like that to alert you when you ovulated?
