Skyla cramping!

So I got the Skyla placed in August of last year. My doctor said skyla does not release hormones but she did say that it emphasizes my normal period symptoms. She also said my period should stay what's "normal" to me, but it's not uncommon if it changes. That's the information I got. Which has made me justify my doubts questions or "paranoia" BUT my cramps ever since have been 10x worse, when I used to be able to bare them, mood swings, depression, irregular cycles. I ised to have irregular cycles but they were far apart. Now they are more often like sometimes twice in a month. I occasionally bleed after sex, which happened more when it was first placed then it does now, and last night me and my husband had sex and after the first time I hurt a little bit but then the second time I went to sleep honestly hurting a lot more then usual.. I woke up in pain and saw I started my period.. So maybe it's just bad cramping. Mainly I guess I'm asking if anyone has advice whether I should go see my doctor or if it's normal going along with what my doctor said. That's why I haven't yet. I did go through something transfix right before getting it in.. Maybe my body just didn't get to fully accept it..???!!!
