Infected becauze of type of belly ring??

Soo I recently changed belly rings and I looked today and the bottom part was super swollen so I took it out and puss started leaking out with some blood in it. Why is it like this

Well put the old ring back in . And dont take out the piercing until it is healed because if not the hole will close up with the infection trapped in it . Your probably just allergic & also belly rings are very sensitive and take a whole while to fully heal too .

I had that my ring had nickle in it im allergic I change the ring put salt water on it for a few weeks and it healed

I'm allergic to anything that's NOT completely sterling silver or gold/white gold. Lucky me. Hope that's not your situation. But clearly, for you, there was a reaction to that new piece of jewelry. Hopefully it was just from lack of cleaning. Time will tell.
