Am I wrong

So when my and my husband met we were both working in a club he took care of floor work and I was a dancer (don't judge) a few months into our relationship he started to become jealous and kept asking me to quit and he would help me finically, until I get my degree which I graduate next week. I just want others opinions am I wrong leaving the club. I am happy with my relationship I just want others views.
